Frequently Asked Questions
How is the installation free for my business?
Through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). We cover all costs to install and maintain your solar panels. You simply buy the electricity generated at a fixed rate of 21p/kWh. This price is fixed for 15 years, future-proofing your business against rises in electricity charges.
What happens when the contract ends?
You can:
1. Buy the system for £1 and enjoy free electricity for decades.
2. Have the system removed at no cost. Most businesses choose to purchase outright and benefit from free power.
Who maintains the system?
We do. All maintenance, repairs, monitoring, and insurance are included at no cost to you. Panels come with a 25-year warranty, and uptime is guaranteed above 99%.
How much will my business save?
Savings vary depending on energy use, but most businesses cut costs by 25–40% annually.
How It Works
Desktop Proposal
01
We create a tailored proposal for your site.
We’ll need Postcode and Building Ownership Details and Energy Consumption Data – Half Hourly Data preferred – but we can use a recent Utility Bill.
This offers a clear picture of savings and system design before any commitments.
Informal Acceptance
02
We move things forward with quick, digital paperwork (via DocuSign):
Letter of Intent – confirms your interest (non-binding)
Intent to Lease – signed by the building owner (if applicable)
Letter of Authority – lets us engage with your local grid operator
Formal Acceptance & Installation!
Grid operator approval (DNO – District Network Operator – Can take up to 90 Days)
We carry out surveys, confirm approvals, and finalise contracts:
Site & structural surveys
Final contracts: PPA Agreement & Lease
Once complete, we install your solar system — usually in 1–4 weeks, depending on size.
